Nabq has been designated a protected area and includes an abundance of wildlife, stunning unspoilt coral reefs and the most northerly mangrove forest in the world.

The roof terrace has amazing 360 degree views, with the sea and Tiran island on one side, the sea is only 700 meters away and you have the breathtaking mountains of the sinai desert on the other. Perfect spot to watch the sunset or there is a wonderful breeze up here so it can be a lovely quiet place to soak up the sun during the day.

The pool bar

The pool snack bar is open every day from 10am til 6pm serving soft drinks and meals.

It has also started evening meals on Monday and Thursday nights ,pre booking required but fantastic egyptian cuisine very reasonably priced. Main courses from 40LE per person, around only £4 . Tried and tested by us and highly recommended. They also provide nightly room service if you would prefer to eat your meals in the apartment.

During the summer months ( May to October ) there are regular evening barbeques, ask at the bar or office for details.

Some of the other pools on the complex

There are 5 pools on the complex to chose from. All have sunbeds and umbrellas around them. All have either a separate toddler pool or a toddler pool incorporated into the pool normally separated by a low wall. The pool bar is situated at the side of the main pool which is some 30 meters in length and has bar stools in the water at the swim up bar.

The road into nabq

The road from the complex into the centre of nabq is lined with palm trees and makes a pleasant walk. You can also walk along the beach for most of the way. From the apartment to La Strada at the far end of Nabq takes 50 minutes at a gentle stroll , or a little over 5 minutes by taxi,10 minutes by local bus. Dont worry if you do decide to go for a walk there are plenty of shops and bars on route if you want to break up the journey. If you change your mind half way just flag down a taxi or passing bus. There is also now a little train that runs along the Peace Road from one end of Nabq to the other.
